Econo Mode for printing PDF file

I used to be able to print PDF files in econo mode on my imac (mojave). Now, the option for this type of printing does not appear on printing que screen. I can print Word documents in econo mode.

What application do you print PDFs from?

From Adobe Reader as an example you won't see an Eco mode setting within Adobe's print dialog, you will need to click the bottom printer... button to access the system print dialog, from there you may select Eco mode.

I open the PDF in Preview > Print and do not see the printer button at the bottom you suggested.
