I was previously able to print envelopes out of tray 2 and tray 1 sized A7, B6, B5 and even custom print. However, now they jam and will not print. I've attempted setting the size on the printer itself, through Word, through control panel and it still get a paper jam error regardless of what tray I am using. It is hit and miss with sometimes it will print and most often then not it will not. The envelope size is a regular setting and the reason I purchased this printer.
I've checked the front, the back and the bottom to make sure nothing is stuck in the rollers and they are clear. I can print a regular size letter page.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi @Capricorn01,
Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you are facing issues with your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw wherein the envelopes do not print from tray 2.
This issue could occur if more than 5 envelopes are loaded at a time in tray 2.
Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.
And here are a few steps listed below:
1. Open the tray.
2. Adjust the paper guides by sliding the guides to the size of the envelopes being used.
3. Load envelopes into the tray.
4. Make sure that the envelope stack is flat at all four corners. Slide the length and width guides so that they are against the stack.
NOTE: To prevent jams, do not overƭll the tray. Be sure that the top of the stack is below the tray full indicator.
CAUTION: Loading more than ƭve envelopes in Tray 2 can result in jams.
5. After making sure that the stack is below the tray full indicator, close the tray.
You may also check page no. 22 of the user guide from the link: User Guide
Let me know if this works.
You have a good day ahead.

Tried it, and no it does not work. It did work initially, as I mentioned. I was also able to print using the manual tray 1. Again cannot do either of these now. Every now and then I will be able to print 1 without it stopping with a paper jam.
Thank you.
