Hi @Greenpeach
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query.
I understand that Error 75 appeared immediately after installing the new cartridge. Since the error occurred following the cartridge replacement, this may be related to the printer being unable to connect to the Internet to verify the toner supply status.
Power Reset the Printer
- Turn the printer off and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Plug it back in and turn it on again to see if the error clears.
Remove and Reinstall the Cartridge
- Open the front access door and carefully remove the toner.
- Gently shake the cartridge side to side to distribute the toner evenly.
- Reinsert it firmly until it clicks into place and close the access door.
Inspect the Toner Cartridge Chip
- Remove the toner again and inspect the small metal or gold-colored contact chip on the cartridge.
- Make sure it’s clean, intact, and not damaged.
- Wipe gently with a lint-free, dry cloth if needed, then reinstall.
