After moving my printer it displays Error Code 59.C0. It will photo-copy without any problems, but not operate as a printer. Any idea as to the fix for this? I have tried rebooting, resetting and reseating toner trays etc.

Hi @GrimGrim,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I understand you are getting an error message on your HP LaserJet Printer. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.

The 59.... error code is usually a hardware problem with one of the motors.

Disconnect any cables from the printer and just leave the power cable connected from the printer directly to the wall outlet. Restart the printer.

Try and print a standalone self test on the printer to see if you have the same results.

Touchscreen control panels :

From the Home screen on the product control panel, touch the Setup button.
Open the Reports menu.
Select Configuration Report.

If you have followed the steps suggested and still having the issue. I would suggest the next step would be to perform an advanced reset on the printer.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile,

Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

If you have followed the steps suggested and still having the issue. I would personally suggest this could be a possible hardware failure. I would recommend you contact our HP phone support for further assistance.

I was afraid of that. I saw it may be the motor but hadn’t noticed any significant sound change when using the printer earlier. I will definitely seek out a repair or look into replacing the printer. Thank you for your help.

It's a hardware problem you can't expect a reset or NVRAM to resolve it.

You need to take it apark and get it fixed

Check the link it'll help.
