Hi, I wonder if anyone can help, I have an error code 6 come up re scanner, I've read old archive boards regarding this but what do you do if your touch icons do not light up so you can reset printer to factory default, is there another way to reset printer

Many thanks

Wayne

According to tech documents this error can be caused by a glitch in firmware older than 20150525. If you can restart and the unit comes to ready then you should upgrade the firmware. If it does not come to ready after several restarts then documentation states that the scanner needs to be replaced. I have not worked on this model recently so I do not know if there is a way to fix without replacing.
