HP LaserJet Pro M12w
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hi,

I bought a new HP Laserjet Pro M12 w printer. When I try to install it with wireless connection manager/ configuration, it is not being installed. I have tried many times I have given correct id and password. Everytime it says incorrect id and password. I TRIED ON 2 Laptops same issue. But the id and paasword is correct all the devices are using that id password. I don't know what to do its working right with usb and printing. I want printer to work wirelessly and able to print through mobile but its not being installed and says id password wrong whereas its correct. Tell me what to do.

Confused

Printer Specifications indicate the printer provides wireless printing on the 2.4GHz bandwidth:

Wireless capability
Standard (built-in Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n)

If the router supports 5GHz, make sure the router is set to also provide wireless on 2.4GHz.

The security type must match on both router and on the wireless.  For example, if the router is using WPA / WPA2, the printer must be set to use this security type.

Read and follow the instructions in this Troubleshooting Document:

The security type must match on both router and on the wireless.  For example, if the router is using WPA / WPA2, the printer must be set to use this security type.

Verify / Adjust the Security type and the Encryption type:

Find Your Wireless Network Password (Windows)

See Step 4, Figure 2

Click open the "Security type" drop down menu to see / select from the available security types.

Click open the "Encryption type" drop down menu to see / select the appropriate Encryption type -- in almost every case, the correct answer is AES.

The Network Security key is the passphrase (password) assigned to access the router / network.

If you do not find the passphrase you expect, correct it to match the passphrase on the router.

WAP is not necessarily a router, though a router can serve as a an Wireless Access Point.

Difference Between WAP and Router

You cannot "convert" the printer to other than those services it supports - the printer provides those connection services as listed in the drop down menu for the respective service.
