Product: HP LaserJet M402dne
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Dear all,

We would like to order an extra paper tray for the printer HP LaserJet M402dne. Tray 2 for labels and Tray 3 for paper

After doing some research online, I came accross this model : https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-laserjet-pro-550-sheet-feeder-tray

In the compatibility section it specify these 402 models : HP LaserJet Pro M402d (C5F92A) ; HP LaserJet Pro M402n (C5F93A); HP LaserJet Pro M402dn (C5F94A); HP LaserJet Pro M402dw (C5F95A) . But it doesn't specify that HP LaserJet M402DNE is also comparitble.

I'm just trying to make sure that it will fit, because it will takes approximately 6-8 weeks before we receive our order.


If anybody can help me out with this one, would be highly appreciated.

Just adding as a reference, here is the printer datasheet which clearly list the HP LaserJet 550-sheet Feeder/Tray D9P29A as compatible under the Accessories section of your printer:

I can confirm that this tray (product number: D9P29A) is designed to fit and work with your printer.

You are correct that the site does not specify your model, but this is something they forgot to add.
