Could you please provide me with instructions how to "factory-reset" my printer?

From one moment to the other it doesn't want to connect to my WiFi anymore and i'm also not able to connect to it via the DIRECT-B2-HP WiFi network.

After turning it on, the blue WiFi led keeps blinking for a while and then it turns off and the power led starts blinking - which is i guess some kind of sleep mode.

I would like to setup my printer as if it was new again.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for clarifying @DoubleJB, let’s try the following steps, please let me know how it goes.

Make sure there is no USB cable connected to the printer, be sure to disconnect any such during the process.

Make sure the printer is ready with a solid power lit, press cancel to wake the printer, the power light blinks during sleep mode.

Press and hold the wireless button for about 20 seconds, when the Attention light starts blinking, release the wireless button and the printer will restart.

From your mobile device (iOS or Android), make sure you are connected to your home network and open the HP app.

Click the plus sign and then Add Printer, follow the steps on screen to connect the printer to your home network, once done the blue wireless light will solid lit.

Make sure your Mac is connected to your home network and add the printer from System Preferences > Printers & Scanners as Airprint.

Hi,

What you describe is Sleep mode indeed, when the power light blinks and the wifi light turns off.

While you refer to the HP-Direct network, please clarify if you would like to use the printer in a direct (Wi-Fi Direct) connection between your Mac and the printer, to connect wireless without a router, or would you like to connect the printer to your home wireless network to print from your Mac?
