False Paper jam HP Laser jet M476dw

We have two computers  both running Windows 10 connected wireless to the HP Laser Jet M476dw printer. It has started showing paper jam after every page that is printed. Open the back cover where you would normally find a paper jam, and there is no paper stuck in the printer. After closing the door the paper jam message disappears. How do I fix this?

Most of the time you need to replace the pick-up roller but you can try to clean it first to see if it helps.

Another way is to slow down your printer speed by choosing heavy paper when you print though you still really use plain paper  and it will help.

Do you know where I can find the part number and part for the pick up roller? And how easy is it to replace?

I usually use a thicker than the cheap paper. But also print a lot of labels for ebay shipping.

Google "HP M476 pick-up roller"  gets the HP RM1-4426-000CN, RM1-8047-030CN, RM1-8047-000CN.
