Hi!
I have a problem with my M277dw for a few days now.
One morning it refused to take print orders and showed the "Jam in paper path. Open rear door and clear jam" error.
I looked at all possible places (bottom, rear, top) but couldn't see any jammed paper.
However I noticed a clicking sound when the printer starts and also noticed some white dust piled on one spot, roughly on the left side below the fuser.
The web interface event log lists error 13.1020 and 13.1116.
Here you can find video how the printer acts when connected to power. You can hear the mentioned noises at the beginning: https://www.amazon.de/clouddrive/share/M5rTo4BQfPfbETYkATpro11XimLQw8HYrhZ85JcFo0Q
Am I right that this might be a worn gear inside the fuser unit? Or do you have an advice what I could check?

Hi @Jaykob
If its a false paper jam, updating the printer firmware may clear the paper jam error. Latest version of printer firmware will have product enhancements and issue fixes. You may download and install the latest printer firmware update from here. Apart from gears, the toner/drum unit could also cause the clinking sound, could you remove the toner cartridges and check if the printer is making clicking noise. Instructions on how to remove the toner cartridge can be found here.

Then its possible that it's a loose gears or rollers that is causing the sound and false paper jam. I'm afraid, the printer needs to be serviced, please call HP Support to obtain all available repair/replacement options. You may use the following steps to contact your regional HP Support:
