HP LaserJet Pro 300 color MFP M375
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have two printers HP LaserJet Pro 300 color MFP M375 and since i disabled SMBv1, i cannot scan to network directory.

With other printers HP, it works since i updated firmware but for this model, i don't find new firmware, only this version: 20150126.

Does HP plan on providing a firmware update to allow scanning via SMBv2 ?

Best regards,

Nicolas

Hi,

Your printer does not support SMBv2, SMBv1 must be enabled for scanning to a shared folder to work

HP does not provide information on future plans, but for my personal experience, I doubt any future update will be provided for a such.

You may find below support document on this matter:

You may enable SMB1 and install Microsoft's security update MS17-0101 that resolves the SMB version 1 vulnerability used by the WannaCry attack if not yet installed on your computer:

I have similar question but with regards to compatibility of M402 , P2000 and P3000 series Laserjets with SMBv2.  I checked the White Paper and no mention of these systems.  Where can I get information on compatibility?
