Thank you, Hawks_Eye for your detailed instructions regarding my prior post. Very much appreciated! I got through steps 1 & 2 & reinstalled the app so that the printer now shows in the Win settings. I have, however, hit a roadblock when I connect to the USB port. I receive the following message:

Operating system files missing
The following operating system files are missing and are required to install your device. Please repair the files using your operating system CD and click Retry to continue installation:
C:\WINDOWS\inf\ntprint.inf

I have looked high & low but do not have  an operating system CD.  Is there a way to download such a file  or is there another way around this bump in the road? I do have a wireless system but had previously used the USB port, thinking that it would be simpler. Perhaps that's not the case in this situation? Thanks for any additional suggestions!
