HP M552

We have an HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M552 it prints gray shading or background on the print outs, what could cause this problem? it is not showing any errors

Hi, i managed to solved the problem. I just cleaned the presure roller on the fuser unit & it is now fine.

Just need some more information.Does this happen when printing black or colour.Is the toner original toners.I will out for the post.
I am A certified Copier Technician.
It is so nice to give some help where possible and the forum is a great idea Thank You.Sometimes a picture speaks louder than words to find a solution.Should you find my help use full just give some credit for my effort please.

The Toners are all Original and it happens when you are printting on color & black & white. Even when you printting the cleaning page it appears.

Sounds like the high voltage is not working nicely.Clean the contact points on the toners and the once in machine.Hope this will solve your problem.

Lets not leave this to chance. You have a very fine diagnostics built into the printer. Attached are instructions for disabling cartridge check. Use this procedure to disable and then swap the cyan and black toners and to some print quality tests. If the background turns to blue then you may be having high voltage issues. If it is still grey or goes away with the swap, then odds are the black toner cartridge has an issue. My money is on the black toner.
