HP M1536dnf Printer

The HP printer at my office is somehow stuck in a 79 error loop. It keeps initializing and then randomly tries to print a document after which it displays the 79 error. It does this over and over again as long as the printer is on.

Its likely that someone is attempting to send a bad print job to the printer. Until the bad print job is cleared the printer will continue to error once it gets to that job.

There is a good guide on debugging this subject posted here:

http://resources.lasertekservices.com/how-to-get-rid-of-service-error-79-on-the-hp-laserjet-pro-400/

If you have a print server this process of finding the bad print job is much easier.  Otherwise you will have to search each users machines for the bad print job and remove it.

Then once you find and remove the bad print job you can experiment with alternative ways to print that job.  For example printing the document as an image or switching the print driver to a different language.
