I started receiving the error 49.4C02 on my 4700 printer. I narrowed it down on only curtain pages on outlook 2016. Specifically Starbucks Awards Noticies that use a fancy font.
Once the error ocurs, you have boot the printer to re-set it.
Other print jobs print fine from outlook. I also tried printing the same email message from an older version of outlook and it printer fine as well.
I tried upgrading the firmware to the latest available clj4700fw_46_230_6.rfu, 46.230 but this did not fix the problem. There was a previous message for fix to the 49.4C02 error for a mac job.

Since it only happens with that one item, see if you can save the item using the save as function and then save it in lets say HTML format or one of the other formats available and then open the saved document and see if it will print. The other thing you may want to try is to go file print and then choose properties and check out the settings for paper size, type and other settings and compare with documents that do print as sometimes a document can have a setting which is not right and it confuses the printer and gives the error.

Go to the link below and download the universal postscript driver since I assume you are using the pcl6 driver. You could also go to hp.com, support, download drivers and select the postscript driver for your printer and see if that makes a difference. If it does not, then there may not be a solution.
