HP 9050 MFP
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

HP 9050 MFP has 2 output trays, one on top and one on bottom that locks into multiple trays. I just have the top tray. Is there any way to select top tray output. I'm attaching a pic ith arrow to output tray i'd like paper to come out of. Appreciate the help. unnamed.jpg

There was a problem with your uploaded picture, now it is visible to me ( and others ) .

You cant get the paper to be printed on that tray shown by a red arrow. That tray is used to store originals when copying or scanning from ADF.

You will need to purchase and attach missing tray just google for RB2-5690-000CN that is the part number for tray you need.

Select an output location

It is recommended that you select an output location (bin) through your program or driver. Where and
how you make selections depends on your program or driver, set the default output location from the
MFP control panel.
1.
Scroll to and touch Administration.
2.
Touch
Default Job
3.
Touch
Default Print
4.
Touch
Output
5.
Touch the desired output bin.
Copying
You can set and override the current default output location (bin) from the MFP control panel for copy
jobs:
1.
Scroll to and touch Copy.
2.
Touch
More
3.
Touch
Output
4.
Touch the desired output bin.
To set the default output bin for copy jobs:
1.
Scroll to and touch Administration.
2.

When I got to step 3 (default print) there was not a 4 option for output.

MENU -> CONFIGURE DEVICE -> PRINTING -> PAPER DESTINATION

In the paper destination submenu, you can choose the destination for paper depending on your printer setup.
