Hi AlS77,
- Open the document feeder top cover and inspect the rollers for obvious dirt or wear. Clean the rollers if necessary.
- Install a new roller kit.
If you replace the ADF's rollers then reset the counter via Supplies -> Manage Supplies -> Reset Supplies
I hope this may help,
Cheers!

Unfortunately that does not answer the question put forth. I did not ask how to inspect or clean the rollers. Performing a "Reset Supplies" does not resolve the continued error to clean the ADF rollers. There is no option to reset the roller cleaning count in the Service Menu or Maintenance Menu. No one has an adequate answer so far.

Is it not under the main menu? Under Supplies item?
Also, what firmware is your printer on ? future smart 3 or 4 ?

I don't believe it's supposed to be located under the Supplies menu, that's typically for resetting supplies when they've been replaced, not resetting cleaning cycle counters. I believe there should be a cleaning cycle counter reset under the Support Tool option in the HP Service Menu, but can't find it anywhere in any menu option on this printer. I have already planned to upgrade the firmware to the latest FS4 version to see if it just wasn't included in the current FS4 version which is a year or so old, but I won't be able until Jan 7th next year when they are back to work. I was just looking to see if anyone had ever run into this before.
Out of all my customers, this is the first time I've had this come up, so I'm expecting more down the road.
Just a little FYI background on me, I'm a Senior Field Engineer with 35 years experience in the printer field and also work for an HP Platinum Partner like you. Thanks for responding.

Take a look at this, it is similar and states the procedure to reset the ADF kit:
10.39.70 Document feeder kit very low
- The customer must order and pay for a replacement document feeder maintenance kit.
note:
After replacing the document feeder maintenance kit, reset the maintenance kit page counter by selecting New Document Feeder Kit in the Manage Supplies sub-menu.

Two problems:
1) Your link 10.39.70 Document feeder kit very low doesn't work.
2) Resetting the Document Feeder Kit a) I already did and stated in a previous replay; and b) doesn't affect the cleaning cycle counter reset.
