How do I check the toner levels on my hp cp1215?  This printer does not have a control panel...

You can check it only under Windows 7. I had to install Windows 7 to have full control over the printer.

 

You should be able to print in Windows 10, but you don't have the controls you have in Windows 7. 

 

(So yes, you need to install Win7 on a separate drive, or create a virtual machine.)
