Since we had updated our Macs to macOS 10.14 Mojave, all our HP Color LaserJet M452nw are printing images and PDFs extremely slow. The latest print driver for macOS 10.14 Mojave are installed. The latest firmware (20190712) is also installed on all HP Color LaserJet M452nw. All other printers do not cause any problems just the HP Color LaserJet M452nw. Any ideas?

@peddy2k, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I understand you have issues while printing PDFs and pictures. Your printer might have a firmware update that resolves the issue.
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, identify your printer and then look for updates. Download any available firmware upgrades, and then use the HP Firmware Updater tool on your computer to complete the update. For more detailed steps, go to Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.
Try to print.
If the issue persists, try printing the PDF as an image. Refer to the link for help.
Also, you can try to remove and add the printer using AirPrint drivers. Here is how you do it-
Click the Apple menu, and then select System Preferences.
Depending on your operating system version, click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners.
Click the name of your printer, click the Minus sign, and then delete the printer.
Click the Plus sign, and then click Add Printer or Scanner.
Click the Use or Print Using box, and then select AirPrint
Click Add to add the printer to the list.
Try to print.
Keep me posted for further assistance.
