HP Color Laserjet Pro M254dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Two hours after unpacking the HP Color LaserJet Pro M254dw printer started to reboots itself every 2 minutes, when wifi is turned on.
Entering to any menu to try change the setups will not stops the reboots and it is even rebooting itself when the test print job is in progress, so it causes a paper jams. However, entering to wifi setup menu stops the reboots until we are in that menu.
By turning the printers wifi off, the atnomaly dissapears. Connecting to Ethernet with a cable, it prints and behaves perfectly. It also prints by direct wifi from PC and mobile (even the wifi on printer is turned off but dirrect wifi option is settled).

Trying to update firmware, there is a message that there is no newest update available.
I cant figure out, should I send the printer to the service, or it is some bug and should I wait for the firmware upgrade?

FInally, a breakthtrough!
I have accidentally tried to connect the printer to the wifi of the mobile phone provider and it works. Then I have again connected the printer to the home ADSL wifi and the service error happened again.  Then I experimented and I have found that DHCP setting on the printer causes the service error. Turning this option off and setting a fixed IP adress resolves a problem. Howewer it is a strange problem, because DHCP is working perfectly with LAN cable connection on the same router. My home net is  in use a few years and I  never  had found a problem with it. So I can not explain it the cause of problem. However it is working now. Thank you all for helping.

THE SOLUTION IS:
It was a DHCP problem. Try to turn off a DHCP and put a fix IP adress to the printer on WIFI or change to other WIFI acces  point.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's try a Printer reset here:

From the Home screen on the printer control panel, swipe until the Setup menu displays. Touch the Setup icon to open the menu. 2. Open the following menus: ● Service ● Restore Defaults 3. Touch or press the OK button. The printer automatically restarts.

Let me know if this helps.

I have done the Restore Defaults, so the printer is than OK. Then I turn the Wifi on, choosing a net and giving a passphrase, so the printet has conects to the Wifi net. It is all OK until I shut down correctly the printer, by pressing the switch button a few seconds.
After turning on the printer again, the printer is initializing, connects to Wifi and a 79 Service Error happens after about two minutes. The printer then restarts itself ciclycally again and again until the Wifi is on. If I turn the Wifi off on the printer, the service error not appears anymore.
NOTE: With the Wifi off ant the LAN cable plugged in, the printer works perfect.

So, I have restored the defaults as above instructed. The defaults means that printer Wifi is off. So I am activating the wizzard, choosing the correct Wifi, giving a passphrase and the printer connects to the Wifi network. All is OK until I turn off the printer by pressing the main switch button 2 seconds (executing shutdown).
At the next turning on the printer, it automaticaly connects to Wifi and the first ``79 Service Error turn off then on`` appears about 2 minutes later. Then it goes to cyclical auto restart every 2 minutes. Only by turning the printer Wifi option off, stops this. Connecting printer through a LAN cabble it works perfectly.
