HP Color Laserjet MFP M477fnw continues to leave streaks on pages when printing.   The "Clean Printer" function under the system tools does not correct the problem!  Is there a wheel that I need to access and clean with something to stop this blasted streaking???

Can you post a sample? The two most common causes are a bad cartridge, which would result in a single color streak or an issue with the transfer belt which will result in multi-color streaks. In the case of a transfer belt, a small piece of paper stuck inside the printer can prevent the cleaning system from removing excess toner from the belt or allow waste toner to be redeposited on the belt. Open the cartridge door and check all cartridges carefully to see if the blue/green drums have a consistent color with no toner left on them. then look at the grey/black belt just under the cartridges to see if there are streaks evident on that belt. DO NOT touch the belt with bare fingers as oil from skin will cause blotchy print defects.
