HP Colour Laserjet CP 2025dn

I have faced network connectivity issued with HP colour laserjet cp2025 printer.Printer configured with static IP. Some time printer not pinging/ not able to print from computer  till i manually restarted the printer. Also i have seen that on that time control panel button on printer also not functioning,  if i restarted the printer then control panel functioning and i am able to ping from computer.  I have stop power save mood in printer. But not resolved my issue.

Check the port type being used by the printer driver.  If the port name is WSDxxxxxx, you will want to manually change this to a TCP/IP port as WSD ports are notoriously unreliable for communication.

  • Printer port is TCP / IP. So what is the next steps to diagnosis the issue.

Ensure you have the current firmware and if yes, try performing a factory reset or an NVRAM reset.
