HP Envy 4512

I bought ink cartridges from Walmart, and the color cartridge continuously says incompatible. I have tried removing cartridge, reinserting it, cleaning the contacts, restarting my printer as well as completely unplugging it from the power source, and I've tried to find an update for my printer, which it tells me that it is up to date. I would prefer to not have to completely spend more money on cartridges. I don't have the receipt nor the box. I've never had this issue before when buy these products, so I never thought I would now. What can be done?

Not to worry, we have your back, if it is proven to be defective ink we can get it replaced.

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document  Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the cartridge replacement options for your printer.
