LASERJET 4345mfp

Hi, I have a HP LASERJET 4345 which was printing fine yesterday.  Today when turned on it has put up a fault code: 55.00.00-DC CONTROLLER ERROR. Which effects printing.

I have shut it down and started several times, also i have checked all panels are closed.

Has anyone come accross this before?

Any help would be great!

Thank you.

The next step would be to replace the dc controller. Keep in mind there are two different models of your printer. One is the 4345 and the other is the M4345. The parts are differeent for each model. Recommend you do google search for the service manual and download it.

About the only thing you can do is with the power off, remove the formatter and then put it back in with a good shove. The formatter is the item where you connect the printer to the network or computer and is held in place with 2 thumb screws and just slides out after removing the small cover over it in the back.

Hi, thank you for your reply, but the problem still exists, during warm up the internals don't turn, any other suggestions? Kind regards
