HP LJ MFP M725 is printing smudges only with headed paper from any tray

Good Morning all,

I wanted to get some help as I cant find anything in the documentation to advise on toner smudge marks on headed paper as shown below:

This is the result using any tray.

I've tried putting the headed into different trays to no avail.

I've tried 2 new Toners and wiped the toner with a cloth each time, printed 3 cleaning pages.

Since its a new printer I'm uncertain of how to clean or where to clean.

We print headed from Tray 2 and have done since purchased.

This is tray setup below, and I am aware that Tray 2 should be paper type "headed", but this hasnt caused issues in the past:

 

If anyone could advise, id appreciate it as printing normal a4 plain works fine.

Its just Headed thicker paper.

the assigned paper type regulates the temp at which the fuser binds the toner to the paper.  it sounds like you've just got to change that paper type in the printer settings.
