Working:
* Copy, printing, scan and fax, without paper feeder are working.


Not working:

* Paper feeder from HP LJ 400 MFP M425dw not working.

 

Replacing the ADF maintenance kit on the HP LJ 400 MFP M425dw, dont change this.

ADF Maintenance Kit E-A8P79-65001, consist of:
1x CF288-60015
1x CF288-60016
1x CF288-60021

What can I do ?:
* wrong device setup ?
* paper sensor not working ? How to open the document feeder ?
* cabel between scanner unit and paper feeder not connected ?

Our experience is that the cable between the ADF and the scanner board is likely bad. This product only has the option to replace the whole ADF assembly.

I like to open the document feeder of the HP LJ, which is shown on page 22 of follow pdf file:

Do you mean one of the two cable which shown on follow picture: (the flat black one or the multi color one)

Do you mean with the scanner board, the pcb which have a Ethernet connector, the USB for USB Stick and USB for printer connecting ?
