Check the type of port that windows is trying to use to communicate. On your PC, go to control panel, devices and printers. Right click the icon for the wireless printer and select properties. Click the port tab and see what type of port is being used to communicate. If it starts with WSD followed by random numbers, this is likely your issue. Click add new port, select TCP/IP port and enter the IP address of the printer and click ok once it creates the port.
