Product: LaserJet 2420dn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

When I try to install this printer, it does not appear on the list of printers (and drivers)  provided by Windows 7

Use the update link to see if it appears or just download the universal pcl5 or universal pcl6 driver as they will both work just fine with that printer.

I installed the universal pcl5. and that did the trick. Thanks a lot.
