We have a hp lasejet 1606dn printer which was prevoiusly connected through usb. now when I am going to connect through lan its showing in printer dhcp is disabled and ip is 0.0.0.0 which is manualy given. Now I want to know how do I reset it to dhcp. Please help me out

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you unable to connect the printer to network with LAN cable. I would like to help you resolve this issue. 

 

  • If the IP address shows 0.0.0.0.
  • That means it is not connected to the network.
  • Make sure your network cable is connected properly.
  • If yes, try with a different Lan cable and refresh the page.

 

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Hello,

 

I have this same issue, I get 0.0.0.0 as the IP address, I have changed the cables restarted the printer and I’m still getting the same address....

 

are there any any other solutions?
