Although there is no paper jam, "Jam in output bin" continues to show. I have already: 1) turned power off/unplugged printer, waited, re-energized - multiple times, 2) performed reset to default settings from control menu, 3) performed a NVRAM reset/initialization, 4) disassembled the printer (following the HP Repair Manual) and was able to remove the fuser (no paper there), 5) I used the HP Troubleshooting manual to determine media sensor locations (SR602 "registration sensor" in rear door feed mechanism, SR603 "loop sensor" and SR609 "fuser output sensor" located on top/inside of fuser, (appearing to be integrated with paper width sensors)), and inspected/activated them -they all move freely and return to to default/correct position when done, 6) I re-installed the fuser, top cover, control panel, scanner/feeder mechanism and all related cables, and actuated the rear door "open detection sensor - SR607" (with door off to allow access to all sensors with printer engergized), then with printer on (still showing "jam in output bin" on control panel) I manipulated all sensors, no change. 7) I carefully unplugged each sensor connector and reconnected, still no change, 😎 I disassembled the printer again, disconnected and removed the fuser, and manually fed a sheet of paper through by rotating the fuser feed mechanism, all sensors were actuated properly and returned to default position when paper passed through. 9) I re-assembled the printer, repeated the above steps actuating and disconnecting each sensor while printer was energized, and still no change. Please help!

Thank you but this link is the same one I saw multiple times in many other paper jam posts that contains exactly what I stated above I've already done. I've re-reviewed and there are no steps I haven't taken. I was hoping for some expertise (i.e., how do the sensors feed the processor so that I might understand how I can do further trouble shooting or by-pass the sensors and narrow down the problem, or determine hardware vs software source etc.).

Thanks but sensors are not broken based on inspection and manual actuation (the sensor triggers a proximity switch that has no moving parts to be broken, and based on my first post, I stated these sensors operated properly). I went to HP contact website as suggested and found that due to warranty being expired I will have to pay to talk to someone.
Considering I bought this printer new and haven't even made it through the starter toner cartridges this is very frustrating. I'm a big HP fan, but am losing patience. Many others have posted on this same issue and there has to be a common solution (i.e., software patch/reset). I have a hunch that based on responses to my two prior inquiries that this is actually an automated response system. There is no way a human would respond by telling me to do exactly what I said I already did, with repeated canned responses. Please respond with something that sounds human - I don't want to give up on HP.

Hello All.
I have exactly the same issue: Output Bin Paper Jam with the following:
Printing is stopped (85% of the paper is out already)
I could extract the paper, no other Jam.
I have to stopped/restart th eprinter to get ride of the error message
Then issue again
I have done the following:
Plug/Unplug
Reset with the menu
Change paper type
No impact
I have perform the full system dis-assembly. Nothing wrong "visualy", all clean, no dust, no peace of paper.
Fuser Unit seems 100% OK. Sensors also OK
But still the same issue..
No more idea
Thanks in advance for your help and inputs

I am here like the others. I have performed the visual inspection and removed the fuser
have exactly the same issue: Jam in Output Bin
Printing is halted with approximately 85% of the paper resting in the output tray from a one page print. If multiple pages are printed, the above happens with additional sheet jam accessable from rear door.
I have to stopped/restart th eprinter to get ride of the error message
I have performed the following:
Plug/Unplug
Reset via the menu
Change paper type
Reduce paper
Cleaned rollers
No impact
I disasembeled the printer down to the fuser and could not find an issue. Interior is clean, with minor dust removed and no evidence of residual paper found.
I am in need of assistance. I need to get this printer working again.
