About 3 years ago I added a new wireless router to our main ethernet, connecting the new router over the pre-existing ethernet network -- over the wired part of that network. So the new router created a subnet to the pre-existing network, which I'll call the MainNet because its router connects to the ISP (Internet Service Provider). (I also turned off the wireless option in the MainNet's router.) Around 1 year after adding the new router, the Galaxy S8 smartphones (which use Android) stopped printing to the HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw, which is on the wire-only MainNet. Although I tried multiple times but couldn't get the print drivers on the smartphones to connect to the LaserJet: they just could not see it from the SubNet. Roughly around the same time the LaserJet stopped connecting to the Internet and, of course, couldn't print from HP ePrintCenter/Web Services. I sure would appreciate ideas on how to resolve these two --possibly related--connectivity issues.

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More. I see from your post that you are having issues with the connectivity and printing issues from your android phone. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Is the wireless light on the printer blinking or Is it steady blue?
Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall HP Print service plugin? Did you try to update your phone?
What application are you trying to print from? Have you tried to use HP Smart App.
Is the printer connected to the network? Check the wireless light. If the light is steady blue, then the printer is connected to the network. If the light is flashing, then the printer is not connected to the network. Go to Setup - Network - Wireless setup wizard to connect the printer to the network.
Once the printer is connected to the network, then assign a static IP to the printer:
Let’s start by assigning a static IP address to the printer. Here are the steps:
For Windows: HP Printers - Printer is Offline (Windows)
- Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to get the IP address.
- Type the IP address on your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
- Go to "Network" tab - General - Select "Network protocols" - Select "Enable IPv4 only" (or similar) - Apply the settings.
- Go to the “Network” tab – Click on “Wireless (802.11) – Then click on “Network address (IPv4)
- Click on the radio button which says, “Manual IP” and then click “Suggest a manual IP address” to give a manual IP address to your printer.
- Click on radio button which says, “Manual DNS Server” and under manual preferred type 8.8.8.8 and under manual alternate type 8.8.4.4 (This is Google DNS server address)
- Restart the printer and then router once done.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to follow the steps suggested in the support document for - HP Printers - Printing from Android Smartphones or Tablets
Alternatively, you can try to install HP Smart app:
Print and scan photos and documents, monitor ink levels, and troubleshoot printer issues with the HP Smart app on your Android and Apple iOS mobile devices.
1 For supported printers, use the HP Smart app to connect printers to your wireless network.
-
Print to any network-connected HP printer that is on the same local wireless network as your mobile device.
-
Scan documents and images from your printer or mobile device camera, and share via email, save to cloud-based storage, or store on your mobile device.
The HP Smart app is compatible with Android OS 5.0 and later, or Apple iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch with iOS 10 and later.
Go to Using the HP Smart App (Android, Apple iOS) for more information.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Eagerly waiting for your response!
that said, If the information I've provided was helpful,
give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.
