HP LaserJet Pro 400 Color M451NW Paper Jam Error

HP Recommended
HP LaserJet Pro 400 Color M451NW
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I are getting a "jam in paper print path. open rear door and clear jam" error on a laserjet pro 400 Color M451NW. The user had a page stuck in there and I took it out. Once the page is removed the printer will jam on the very next page. The page starts out the top of the printer maybe an inch when it jams. Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated.

When you just want to print one page did it have a page stuck in the output roller and another one jamed in the input area wrinkled? That means you just want to print one page but you got two pages jamed one in output area and another one is in input area.

If that's what you came into then you have a so called input Sticky Solenoid problem. It happens easily on HP M451.

Not an easy job to get to the solenoid which seats at bottom right side of the maching and the most right side of pick-up roller.

I never try to take everything out to get to there it's too much pain.

I just seat M451 on its right side ther's a black colored cover on the most right side of pick-up roller where the solenoid hided inside.

Cut the black cover with a knife heated with gas stove with a hole large enough for you to get to the solenoid and take good care of it .

Put a V-shape paper in between the solenoid and all will be fine.

It's the most easy one I've ever found to get the job done.
