Thank you for posting the solution! Updating the firmware was easy to do and it fixed the problem. I can now print Arial 72pt without a problem. Printing as bitmap works fine, but updating the printer firmware so that you can use the printer native fonts is a more elegant solution. Thank you very much for taking the time to post this solution.

@DesiJugno wrote:For HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP m276nw print -- the above mentioned trick worked on this printer as well.
Windows 7
Start --> Devices and Printers --> (Right Click on Desired Printer) --> Printing Preferences
A dialog will come up
Select "Advanced" tab
Under "Printer Features" -- Select "Send True Type as Bitmap" option's value to be "Enabled"
This worked for me too. Thanks!!!!!

You created an account just to give the answer, and I created one to say THANK YOU! This problem has bugged me for over a year. To begin with, we could save something as a PDF and get around it, but for some reason that solution stopped working. I've googled this problem several times, but this is the first time this solution popped up...and it worked! Thank you thank you thank you!

Thanks this worked for me to. I was literally puzzling my brain trying to find out what was wrong. First i thought the toner was out, but i was able to print another document in a lower font size. Your instructions worked perfectly. Thanks
