I have tried to install a Laserjet Pro M102w printer on 4 different PCs, but when I print the test page I get the message: the parameter is incorrect.
The only way to get something printed is with HP Print and ScanDocter. A page came out, furthermore without error messages. I tried to solve it with a universal driver, but with that no result.
I went looking for a solution on the internet, but I couldn't get any further. Does anyone know a solution? Thanks in advance..

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support community!
It looks like it could be some issue with the printer drivers installed.
Let's try uninstalling the printer and re-installing the printer driver, this may fix the issue.
- Unplug the USB cable from the printer, if present.
- In Windows, search for 'Control Panel' and open 'Programs' or 'Programs and features' and select 'Uninstall a Program'.
- Select your HP Printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for 'Control Panel' and look for 'View devices and printers'option under 'Hardware and Sound'.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'.
- Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
- Click on the "Drivers" tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select Ok.
- Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
- Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
- Restart the computer.
- Download the printer driver and install it from this link or manually search for the drivers from https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/printers.
- Open the downloaded file, follow onscreen instructions and complete installation
- Try printing from your PC again and check if you can print.
Let me know what happens.

I did the above, but unfortunately no results.
Also not a good result when installing on a PC with Linux Mint.
No further error message here, only the green LED on the printer will flash and it will remain quiet.
The printer is from my brother who bought it at the time, but never got it started. He never complained about the problem during the warranty period, so unfortunately I think it's dumping now ...

The computers that you are trying to install are they Windows or are they based on Linux platforms?
Refer to this document for blinking lights on the printer.
Which light is blinking? Is that the Power Light or the Ready light?
Let's try to perform a Power Reset:
- Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector.
- Turn the printer on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Wait at least 60 seconds
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- try to print again.
Also, try to update the printer firmware.
- Refer to this link to update the printer firmware.
Let me know what happens.
