Hi @limptrash
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
What is the error while you try printing?
How is the printer connected to the PC?
For now, let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue
Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Clean reinstallation of Pre-installed HP drivers
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
- Select your HP Printer
- Select Uninstall
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
- In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
- Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
- Click on the “Drivers” tab
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
- Select Ok
- Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
- Close Devices and Printers, restart the computer.
Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Try printing.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi @kumar0307
Thanks very much for the help, I uninstalled every hp program in Windows 10 I started to remove drives and everything you mentioned in this
"

I restarted the computer and download the HP Full Featured driver but during the installation its gives some errors and can not install, I think it is Windows 10 updates, I will post some screenshots to help you more.
Also, created a new user account and the error persists
Other thing I'm trying on a virtual machine with Windows 7 and I'm going to see what happens
Replying your questions;
What is the error while you try printing? None because I can't install the driver properly as you can see in the screenshots
How is the printer connected to the PC? It is connected by USB
Thanks a lot my friend, also posting hp notifications when I enter in hp support, i hope it helps you find a solution
Best Regards and Best Wishes of a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year coming

Thank you for the detailed response. It seems like an issue with the compatibility of the printer driver and the OS as you have tried in a new user account too.
Install the printer using Windows built-in driver
Refer to this document to know how.
Note: If the printer driver is not available, try installing the universal HP print driver from here
Let me know how this goes.

I recommend you root uninstall the printer and then reinstall the printer using the printer IP address.
Here is how it is done.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the PC
Add the printer using IP address -
1. Select “Start” and type “printers” in the search box.
2. Choose “Printers & scanners“.
3. Select “Add a printer or scanner“.
4. Wait for the “The printer that I want isn’t listed” option to appear, then select it.
5. Select “Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname” , then select “Next“.
6. Select “TCP/IP Device” in the “Device type” list.
7. Type the hostname or the IP address of the printer. Select “Next“. To find the IP address of the printer, touch the Wi-Fi icon on the printer's control panel.
8. Windows should find the printer if the printer is on and configured correctly. You may have to specify more information. If prompted, Select the type of network adapter installed in the printer in the “Device Type” drop-down list. You can also click “Custom” to specify custom settings for the network printer. Select “Next“
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Cheers!
