I have the printer setup and working on my home wifi but I see theres a second wifi signal from the printer that I dont need. I'd like to turn this off or hide it as I'm not sure how secure it is.
How do I go about doing this?
Ive logged into the printer settings but there's nothing obvious.

I have the same printer setup via WIFI with WIFI direct turned off. It's very easy if you know the IP address of your printer.
Just enter the IP address of your printer in your web browser, this will bring up the printer's setup interface.
Click on the 'Networking' tab.
On the left you will see various network options, click on the 'Wireless Direct Setup'.
You will see a tick box labeled 'Enable wireless direct printing. Uncheck it and click 'Apply'

As I understand you would like to turn the printer Wifi signal off on your HP LaserJet printer. Don't worry as I have a few steps to help you get through this concern,
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Are you referring to Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct?
Could you please send us the screenshot of the issue that you are facing for further assistance?
In the meantime, let's try these steps here:
Hard reset on the printer, router, computer and other devices on the same network.
The following steps temporarily disconnect network and Internet connections and require restarting your computer. Complete any tasks or downloads in progress before continuing.
1. Press the Power button on the printer to turn it off.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
3. Disconnect the power cord from the wireless router.
4. Turn off the computer.
5. Wait for 30 seconds.
6. Reconnect the power cord to the wireless router.
7. Wait for 30 seconds, or until the router is fully on and ready
8. Turn the computer back on.
9. Wait for the computer to reload
10. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
11. Turn the printer back on.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to Wireless enabled and disable Wi-Fi Direct and check if that helps.
Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hearing from you.
