Hi

I am very angry from Windows update, every time they update their Windows one of components fail, audio, printing, translating by google, Microsot if losing our trust.

Now my old and lovely printer Hp lj P1505 stopped working after today update, the troubleshooting said that was usb 2.00 can be print with 3.00.

I used your reply download it and tried to fix with no use.

What shall I do to reuse my printer?

Thank you in advance.

@SabahAkkou, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver on your Windows PC.

Below are the steps you can follow:

1)In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2) Select your HP Printer

3) Select Uninstall

4) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’

6) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.

7) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

😎 Click on the “Drivers” tab

9) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10) Select Ok

11) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12) Close Devices and Printers.

Now download and install the printer driver from here

If you still have issues, try installing the windows built-in drivers. Refer to this document for help.

Let me know if this helps.

Cheers 🙂
