We recently have had lots of issues with our internet - cable service guy was out twice and installed an additional wireless router.  it took him a couple of hours to get our 1102W wireless printer to work again and finally, it does print just fine.  however, it won't remain in standby now - it powers off.  so when we want to print something, we need to go over and turn on the power, then print the document.  if we forget to turn it on and hit PRINT, it won't automatically turn on, and if we then turn it on, it still won't print what's in que.  if we choose PRINT again, it then prints 2 copies.  not the end of the world, just an annoyance - and different from how it's always been.  previously the power light just stayed on and it was on standby, always ready to print.  thoughts?

Thank you for joining HP Forums.}

I'll be glad to help you 🙂

As I understand the printer turns off instead of going to sleep,

To let you know the Auto-Off is an energy saving feature.

The P1102w returns to a ready state when a print job is received or a button is pressed on the P1102w.

The default Auto-Off delay is set to 5 minutes.

To change the Auto-Off open the P1102w properties than the Device Settings tab, select the new delay from the drop down list.

Click here to get more details and steps.

Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,

It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.
