We have a HP Laserjet 400 that is connected to a wired network. We also have a wireless accesspoint on the same network. When an ethernet cable is connected to the printer (in a perfect world) the wireless is shutoff to avoid conflicts BUT, within about 20 minutes of pluging in an ethernet cable, the wireless accesspoint goes down (quits working and has to be restarted). This is NOT the only accesspoint that has done this. The printer has caused the whole network to go down as well (5 servers & 40+ workstations). This printer did not do this when we first got it (about a year ago). Does anyone have any suggestions for me that doesnot involve making it wirless only or replacing the acess point (for the 3rd time)?
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Huumm... not sure how this can occur. However, manually turn off the Wireless Radio in the printer. If the printer supports Wireless Direct, make sure this is disabled also.
