Product: HP Laserjet Enterprise M806
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, we've purchased a used HP Laserjet Enterprise M806 and I woulld like to know how to clear the Administrator

password. I tried factory defaults, but that didn't help the password. The only page visible in the EWS is the information

tab, I would like to change the settings over the wire and not directly on the printer. Can anybody help me ?

You need to find the procedure to cold reset the printer oh, this will have to be done at the control panel.

 

A cold reset will also wipe out your network settings.

 

I highly recommend printing configuration pages before attempting a cold reset.

Thank you, I was looking at how to get at that menu option.

1. Turn off the printer

2. Turn on the printer

3. Wait for the display to read 1/8 under the HP logo

4. Press my finger on the HP logo on the LCD screen

5. Menu where i could do a cold reset will appear.
