HP Laserjet P3015

I have a number of HP LaserJet P3015 Printers and I am having an issue with one of them.

It has previously worked and no settings have been changed - it just stopped working.

I have tried every type of reset I can find, factory settings, hard/cold reset etc with no success.

I have printed the "Embedded Jetdirect Page" configuration from this printer and one that works to compare.

The issue seems to be that the printer IPV4 Status is always "Initializing" and all the addresses are set to 0.0.0.0.

When I check the settings on the printer itself using the inbuit screen it has all the correct network settings, and displays the correct IP address on the status screen.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Do you have a link light where the ethernet cable plugs into the back of the printer. Try another cable and/or another port to plug the printer into. If all that fails it would appear the network port on the printer is bad and the formatter will need to be replaced. You could also purchase an eio jetdirect card on ebay and insert it into the one open eio slot the printer has and use that card to attach to the network.
