When my telephone rings, if my printer is on the caller gets endless rings, and the printer behaves as if a fax is coming in. I would like to turn off the fax features in my printer. How do I do this?

@mattie7,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Was the fax setup on the printer?
  • Do you have the phone line connected to the printer?

If you do not use fax then I recommend you disconnect the phone line from the printer and this should take care of the issue.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
