I just got this new printer, and set it up on my network. The printer is on a network with two other printers and three total computers. All computers are running Windows 7 (64-bit), and all printers are networked through the router, not through the computers.
I am trying to print a document that has different orientations for specific pages. I have tried changing every portrait/landscape setting I could find! The document also prints correctly when printed on the other two printers no matter which computer it is printed from. The only common problem is this printer!
The incorrect pages also look like the text has been "fit to page" so that it will fit the landscape orientation onto a portrait page.
I found a "print directly to printer" fix in an old forum post but cannot find that option for this printer.
Can anyone help??

So, the problem wasnt in the application, but you mentioning updating the drivers made me start to question some different things. it seems like there was a problem somwhere between the application, the driver, and the printer.
The printer's normal driver is a PCL 6. I found an HP Universal PCL 5 driver and reinstalled my printer using that. My application prints correctly now, and I am hoping that no other features of the printer will be affected. I dont know enough about drivers to know the difference between these two, but for now, everything is working!
Thanks Imagenet_Tech for the inspiration!

Hello, when you installed the printer, did you install it using the disk that comes with it, or did you download the driver from HP's website? I would try removing the printer, downloading the latest (basic) driver from HP's website and try reinstalling the printer to see if that changes anything. To me it almost sounds like a driver or application issue, and they are not processing the job correctly. Also is the problem happening from all applications or just a specific one? That is another thing to keep in mind as the application may need to be updated on your workstation as well.
Hope this helps....
