Team,
i have a HP M127fn printer that is fairly new.
Recently it would start up and only have a blank screen with the Orange Triangle and the Yellow/Green Circle steadily on. Nothing on the front panel works and it can only be turned on and off.
Printing to it is OK. but functions like scanning, copying, faxing, cancel current job, or pressing OK for added paper, etc... cannot be done - front panel funtions are non responsive.
Printer is connected via the Network with static IP address. Machines are Windows 10 x64 & x32 bit.

Superb job on trying the different steps to isolate the issue.
- It seems to be a hardware issue.
- I request you to contact HP phone support for assistance.

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! After reading your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fn printer is not going to the home screen. I would like to help you out with this issue today.
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,
Restore factory settings.
follow these steps:
- Turn the product off. Disconnect the power cable from the product for 30 seconds and then reconnect.
- Turn the product on while you press and hold the Resume button for 10-20 seconds. The Attention light turns on.
- Release the Resume button. The Attention and Ready lights cycle while the product restores factory defaults.

Hi Sandytechy20,
thanks for the assist. unfortunately issue is still there.
Note:- upon pressing the power button on the printer, the "ready and alarm" indicators turn on and remain steadily ON with screen remaining blank.
pressing any buttons on the panel does not affect the lights.
