HP M203dw web server admin password reset

I need to reset the administrator password to the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS). I have tried the username "administrator" with the following passwords, but I cannot get logged in. The passwords I have tried are: "password", and "administrator".

I followed the instructions on page 61 of the user guide and printe dout a configuration report. Under the section titled "Security" is reads, "Administrator Password = Specified". Please tell me how to reset the password to factory default and also please tell me what username and password I should use to login to the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS).

HP uses the default username of admin not administrator. And default password is blank

Hi,

The username would be admin (all lower-case) and the password would be any possible password you may select, a such will never be preconfigured for an M203 printer.

I tried "admin" with a blank password, and I still can't get in. I need to know how to reset the admin password to factory defaults. Can you help me understand how to do that?
