HP M28W

Hi,

I'm using currently GCP and it was serving well my needs - printing at home documents, tickets etc remotely.

As we know GCP will die in a year time - so my question is: How to replace GCP? Do you have simple solution for it?

For example a small hardware print server which connects to cloud and let me print from outside?

ePrint would do the job perfectly but looks like HP doesn't have plans to update firmware...

Thanks

Hi,

HP ePrint is not supported by your printer model, so this would not be an option for the M28w.

You may check for 3rd party solutions to offer such functionality.

PaperCut's Mobility Print would be an option to check:

PrinterShare is another option you may check, but there might be a fee for the applications:

Hope that helps,

Shlomi

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

Now I know that my printer doesn't support ePrint, during purchase I was assured that it's supported-this was my plan, I could return it then when I found this but found also that GCP is supported and this worked fine for me.

I'm looking for something like a small hardware, dedicated print server, just a print server which can be used without keeping PC or setting a fully blown server at home.
