Product: HP Laserjet M553
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Has anyone had an issue in which the printer suddenly prints one sided from multiple trays? (ex: even pages from tray 1 and odd pages from manual feed (from explorer),

 

Also any document printed from Outlook seems to print one sided only and requires manual feed (followed by pushing the [OK]).

Sounds like you have tray size or type setting issues. You should ensure that if you have plain letter in tray 2 that is how you have the paper selection set. The Any/Any setting can be problematic. Also if you have a 553 that uses manual duplexing that would cause it to print from tray 2 and then the manual tray.
