M606
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I have a HP M606, approximately 650,000 prints so far, should be nothing for this scale of printer. I am having the following errors. I have cleaned the best I can, I do not see anything blocking. I have purchased 2 fusers. Having similar errors with both so I don't think it is the fuser, unless I got 2 bad ones...Unlikely. Anyway I am getting the following errors

Late to fuser jam, from tray 2
0201000202021008001000000

Late to duplex re-feed jam, 2
0201000202021004801000000

Stopped at fuser jam, 2
0201000202021004001000000

High temperature error

This all seems to be related to the fuser.  I have also tried 2 brands of paper. I have tried only using tray 2 and only tray 3.

I read somewhere that it could be the power supply board, that is $200 which I am fine with if it fixes it. Hate to spend $200 and be in the same boat.

Of course the rollers have been replaced as well that come with the fuser kit.

Just to be clear, it will print a few pages. Sometimes a few hundred pages. Then I get these errors. We print a lot with this printer it worked great for the last few years.

Here is a more detailed report from the error log

Try blowing compressed air into the flag assembly under the registration assembly. We have had a couple of high page count units that had build up there and caused intermittent sensor issues when feeding paper.

I guess I should have mentioned that I have blew compressed air every place I know to do it. It is pretty clean inside 🙂

I just discovered that if I print just one side it works fine. Must be something to do with the duplexer.

I have had cases where a piece of paper gets caught in the duplex tray and it jams the flag but loses contact with rollers. Remove the duplexer, look at the front, the side that does into the printer first, and you will see a slot. Take a stiff piece of paper and try pushing it in and out, or use a flashlight to look into the slot to see if you can find any paper debris there.

Repairatrooper first of all thanks for all the suggestions.

I have tried the paper thing in the duplexer. Still jams. I took the top cover off of it, blew air as well as running what I call card stock thru the slot. Also blew air again on the return inside the back of the printer.

I am considering buying a new duplexer. It works with a one sided page. Seems likely its duplexer related. It has to be something simple I am missing 🙂

I bought a refurbished duplexer. Same thing, no difference. This has to be something simple that I am not seeing
