HP P1102W
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Lenovo Laptop with Windows 10 and an HP P1102W laserjet printer.  Today when trying to print I started receiving an error message that User Attention was required.  I was able to print on this printer the day before.

My husband is able to print to the printer from his laptop.

I have tried powering off and on the printer, the computer and the router.

I have removed the device several times and added it again.  The printer is detected when trying to add the device.

I have run the HP Scan and Print Doctor.

I can see the printer in the network settings and I was successful in printing a Self Test/Device configuration from the device webpage from my computer.

I tried adding the printer by adding a TCP/IP port and using the IP address.

I tried downloading the full solution drivers from the HP website.  After I downloaded them and opened the .exe files the files were extracted but no installation of the software launches.

There are no blinking lights on the printer.

I have tried everything I can think of or found on the internet.  I am at a loss.  Someone please help!

Hi,

Browse to C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution and double click HpSetup.exe to launch the installation, then follow the steps.

If the same persists with the new installation too, browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\HP and delete the Diagnostics folder.

Next, follow below HP Print and Scan Doctor version and check for any difference:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Please let me know how it goes,

Shlomi
