I have an issue where my printer is showing offline and it is connected to the network. It on and unresponsive. I tried troubleshooting the issue but to vain. I haven't been able to print for a while. Looking for help to resolve this issue. See below in Example 1.
One note: when I unplugged the network and reconnected it did pick up the address and showed printing in the dialog printing box. Only to not print anything afterward. See below for Example 2.
In Example 3, it shows the printer offline even though the printer is on and connected to the network. Yet after troubleshooting it it still shows unresponsive. See below.

Can you print anything from the reports menu on the printer. If not what is the message on the control panel of the printer. I would try with only power connected to the printer and the network cable disconnected. Also you may want to perform a cold reset instructions below. After the cold reset the printer will find a new ip address using bootp or dhcp. Use the new address to load the printer as a local tcp/ip printer and see if the computer finds the printer and loads the driver.
Product cold reset
A cold reset unlocks menus that have been previously locked and sets all control panel menu items
(including EIO settings) back to the factory defaults. However, it does not clear the values in the Service
mode functions on page 259 menu (such as the serial number and page counts).
NOTE: Before performing a cold reset, print a menu map and a configuration page. Use the information
on the configuration page to reset any customer-set product configuration values that the cold reset
procedure changes.
1. Turn the product off.
2. Turn the product on. When the memory count begins, press and hold the OK button. Continue
holding down the OK button until all three product control-panel lights flash once and then remain
on. This might take up to 10 seconds.
3. After the message SELECT LANGUAGE appears on the display, press the button or the
button until COLD RESET is highlighted.
4. Press the OK button. The product performs a cold reset and then continues its power-on sequence.
5. Check all I/O settings and reset any customer-set product configuration values.

After going through wire after wire. I found the determine problem of basic wire connection after investigating each connection. In between the connection the wires are severed and are replaced. It solved the issue and after finally looking for a while. I was able to resolve the issue and the problem is now fixed. Just a wire connection that was damaged was preventing the printer being unresponsive.
